So what is the difference between a cheap electric scooter and a more expensive electric scooter ?
A cheaper electric scooter is usually equipped with a low capacity battery. This is because most of the price of an electrical scooter is determined by the capacity of the battery. Usually, this is a battery with a capacity of +/- 7Ah. This corresponds to a range of +/- 12 km.
Furthermore, there are some important differences :
The carrying capacity of the chassis is usually maximum 100 kg and the scooter is equipped with small 8.5″ wheels which are less comfortable to ride.
Is riding comfort important ? Or do you sometimes plan long rides ? Do you weigh more than 100 kg ? Then an electric scooter that is cheap is a less good choice for you.
